My father insisted I read a novel that I just couldn’t get into. I took it home with me and tried for several nights in a row to become engaged. Finally, I gave up and I went on Amazon, ordered two more books by the same author, and sent them to my father. He called me right away to tell tell me how wonderful the first three chapters were.
I’m glad he loaned me the book.
